the ratio of cops/civilians in NYC is 218:1 ... Don't worry about it.

 

Dude all you have to do is find a Jamaican guy in china town. (This isn't a joke.)

 

If you have the balls to do it, find a street vendor (theres a lot) that sells pipes and ask someone that buys something from there. Or go to a record shop and find the hippie guys. Try to stay away from the gangster looking people. They might have weed, but they might mug you. Also the people that sell bootleg movies in the subways are weed friendly. Be safe though.

 

Don't just look for someone who looks the part of a weed smoker. Especially in NYC. Look for someone who smokes pot and won't rob you. Best of luck though.

 

Its not that hard to find bud in nyc trust me.. ull prob find empty dime bags on the floor everywhere. But do be very carefull trying to get. If you find the wrong person your gonna get robbed and prob the shit beat out you..

 

In times square when I went some guys were passing out fliers for selling weed haha

I think its just a myth because NYC is the capital of the world for possesion busts.

 

Based on my subjective observations, those task forces were successful in chasing dealers out of the more gentrified areas. This is one of the reasons for the proliferation of delivery services (which seems to be the way the authorities want it).

For example, years ago the area around the Bandshell in Central Park used to be a good place to score small amounts, but not any more. Also, certain streets in the East Village used to be good spots, but no longer.

So far as your chances of getting busted, relatively small amounts of weed are not illegal so long as you don't brandish them in public. But what the cops have been doing is stopping some people (mostly young black men) and asking them to empty their pockets. When they comply, the cops say "oh, you have weed out in the open" and bust them.

Anyway, I'm sure you can still ask around and find something, but it isn't as easy as it used to be if you don't know someone who smokes regularly. I understand you can still get good stuff in Washington Heights, but I wouldn't recommend asking around up there unless you're real street-wise.

Bro if your in brooklyn and your with your freinds head to flatbush. Its considered kind of a ghetto hood but most of it is hype. You'll get fat bags there. But its mostly middies. Or you could take the trip to flushing queens. AMAZING weed there. Just go to a park there and you'll see people blazing dutches in the handball courts.
Jackson heights is pretty good too but you could get robbeed there. I myself got jumped there while takin the subway.
