Just checked my plants today and found these spots on 3 out of 4 of them. Have never seen that before and have grown in the exact same spot the past 2 years. They are growing on the edge of a bush with very nutrient rich soil. In the past they have done very well there. The owner of the property said the farmers were spraying the fields the past couple of weeks. There is a large bush between the plants and the nearest field, but it has been windy the past few weeks. And like I said, in the past 2 years I never experienced these spots. Thanks for any input!!
Looks like the plants were misted the mist didn't damage them in a sense as the mist was toxic. The mist staying on the leaves acted as a magnifying glass with the sun's rays and burned the leaves.
Second vote for some kind of insect damage. Misting overspray would be more general and involve the entire plant. BNW
