so, i've been to sporesource.com and i was wonderin if anyone else knew anything about that site and if they sell good spores or what. or, you could reccomend some reliable places..let's get this started.
http://www.ralphstersspores.com/ i ordered from there and havent got my stuff yet so i cant say anything personally (its only been like 3 days) but everyone recommends it so its a good bet
do you have to buy a syringe AND a print? i though syringes already had the spores in them...maybe i'm not understanding somethin. help..
ONLY order spores from the following links: http://www.shroomery.org/sponsors.php http://www.shroomery.org/5125/Where-can-I-find-supplies-in-the-USA Ralphsters is great. SporeWorks, Spores101, SporeSource, etc. Anything listed on the first link above is a reputable vendor. Spore print = dried spores on a piece of paper or foil. The cap of the mushroom is pressed down on a piece of paper and the gills drop spores onto the paper. To use this, you either scrape spores off it using a scapal or sterilized knife into the jar, or you hydrate it with water, suck it up into a syringe and inject the jars. Spore syringe = Hydrated spores that you just inject into a jar. If this is your first grow I highly suggest using a syringe because you're more likely to contaminate a jar by scraping spores into a jar (because to do that you have to open the jar, and opening the jar = introducing contamination) This hobby requires lots of reading. I suggest reading these: http://www.shroomery.org/6219/General-Mushroom-FAQ
Some vendors sell packs of syringes, you'll need if doing more advanced work. You are looking for spore syringes, not just regular 10cc syringes or whatever they sell. Also make sure the strain you get is Cubensis. Like "Psilocybe Cubensis Pes Hawaiian" or "Psilocybe Cubensis B+."
Inhale has you covered here, buddy. But I swear, this is about the 25th copy of this thread I've seen this week. It's time for newbie shroomies (just because it rhymes) to start using the search button.
That's like asking the difference in air quality. The strain has very little to do with the potency. As with marijuana, it all has to do with the growing; albeit marijuana genetics to make a difference. But they still don't mean anything without the right growing conditions. But either way, an easy strain to start out with would be Cambodians or maybe South Americans. Avoid Golden Teacher right now, though. There's been some pretty defective spores of that going around lately.
once I bought spore syringes from a local store and they were not good in quality and then I bought it from a website and that were good in quality and also in quantity.
