Anyone ever hear of spliting the stalk of their plant about a week to 10 days b-4 harvest so it can stress and create more resin in a last attempt to help itself??

Well ive seen a couple videos on it.. not much to read about it..

Ill be splitting the stalk on my Unknown Swag Bag Seed today as ill be harvesting in a couple days..

Ill post pics as im doing it to keep GC updated.

  8. Neat experiment Sypha! How will you know if it caused more resin to get pushed out?

  10. Yep, the more I think about it, the more I want a mother plant of many flavors. You could probably have one with a dozen strains on it in about a week, right? :D

  12. Not exactly sure how ill come to the conclusion of how much it pushes out.. but based on the fact this plants badically done with 10% amber on her rt now, if she resins up anymore than now ill know something happened.. if nothing changes, ill know that nothing happened

  14. I found this video a few days ago of a guy doing it. Prior to that, I had no idea you could with weed.

Then I found this handy article.

  15. Lol, yep, kind of difficult to not want to try it! I was reading some forum posts about it and one guy was saying how he's grown the same mother plant for about 8 years.

It could live indefinitely on a low watt 24/7 light as long as it's well looked after. It could be a fairly large plant with a few dozen branches to do grafts. You could buy a seed once in a while, grow it and add it to the tree if it's a keeper. Too cool!

  18. He sprayed it and put that bag around it too for humidity. Even with the additional steps, I agree it doesn't seem all that difficult to do.

I believe I'll need to work on a mama room this summer.;) Maybe a mama tent? Hmmm

  19. Yo i got a mother here.. 2 mothers actually..

I have a Pineapple Chunk and a Sour Diesel.. the Pineapple Chunk is well established compared to the Sour that barely has any good cutting spots yet but ill take 1 off the lil bit it has just to try this shit out..

Cant hurt to try with 1 piece only..
