Is it possible to have spirituality without having religion? What are the main differences between someone who is overwhelmingly spiritual vs being overwhelmingly religious. I know this might might sound oxymoron but I don't know how else to ask it, I hope you understand what I mean by the questions I asked above: ..............what religion/s are the most spiritual, emphasis on spiritual. Which one/s focus on reaching "enlightenment" with ones higher self, vs being told about some mystical figure which may or may not exist.
Oh I think there is a huge difference from those who are "religious" and those who consider themselves to be merely spiritual. For me being religious means belonging to some sort of organized religion or following the basic guidlines of one. Being spiritual is for someone to have a greater sense of themselves outside of the physical, yet doesnt necessarly practice a religion.
