^^ That shit is what I'm talking about man!! I make music with a similar emphasis. I talk about eating right, training, self discipline, elevating our mindstate, educating ourselves and seeing through the bullshit we're fed, striving for self-mastery, self-discipline, learning to relax and flow with life, forgive. Shit like that. It's inspiring when I come across artists with such a similar vibe that are doing it so well.

That fools song Driftin through Space that you posted just "proves" the level of what he is saying in Akbar speaks. The dude is at such a high level, I love it. As I've progressed in my freestyling and writing over the years it's clear to see that there are levels, and more and more levels, there is always a higher level to reach. Potential is infinite, growth is unlimited. You can always keep getting sharper and stronger in the body and the mind, and it reflects in everything you do, whether that be freestyling, making music, some other kind of art, work, whatever it is you do.

And that K-Rino shit is dope. That's such a skillful MC task, to say so much specific shit and drop so much knowledge while still factoring in flow and rhyme schemes.

Hip hop is such a beautiful art, I feel bad for people who don't understand it/never found the good stuff and shit on it. They're really missing out.

See, this is why I love this thread so much. The quality here is just insurpassable. These are all TIMELESS songs, TIMELESS music that will love on forever. It's not talking about some trend, some shallow fake hollow life of reality that is the life of glitter and gold and all that shit.

It is stuff that is deeply related to being life on this planet. It's like the classic songs of the old days, where the songs impacted you DEEPLY, and you FELT the lyrics. And the spoke to you, and helped you understand shit, and you learn from them.

The content is just 5000% better with these songs in my opnion. Truthful and meaningful songs that accurately reflect reality and perhaps even help us change our own perspectives for the better. More understanding, more wisdom, more empathy more feeling etc.

Not to mention, the artistry itself is usually FAR better and deeper than what most more shallow commercial mainstream artists are making. The musicality and variations in the songs and instrumentals. The production is usually more intricate, superior, and meaningful. The cadences and flows and passion and level of energy/flow that the MC is in is just SO many lightyears away from the less.

I love a lot of music, but I truly have a special place for meaningful deeply relatable hip-hop like this stuff.
