Spiders on plant

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by francisk, Nov 20, 2012.

  1. Howdy guys, doin my second outdoor grow and so far so good!

The plant it about 6 weeks old and I've notice small spiders on the plant and around the pot. Only seen a few so far but not sure why the spiders are on the plant (see attachments)

Any info on keeping spiders away and what type it is will be appreciated :)

  2. Spiders are the good guys - they're actually the ones fighting off the pests. So the issue is what's attracting them?

My experience with the various outdoor pests is quite limited, so someone else would be better suited to help you there.

  3. Spiders are your friend, they won't eat your plant.

Unless the string web around your bud I guess...

  4. yeah their all good, unless they start making little webs than remove them cause that can cause buds to mold

  5. as long as they arent spider mites your good

  6. I like my spiders! Usually they avoid me when I work on my plants and I try not to damage their webs.

They kills what kills your plants!!! (sometimes)
