Spidermites, leaves, pesticide application

  1. This may seem like a silly question, but do new leaves grow during the budding period? I ask this because i've been forced to remove a lot of the ones on my Auto due to a spidermite infestation. I'm hoping they'll grow back just in case I have to start culling more.

In the event of a further infestation, I purchased some Mighty Wash.  Can this be applied any way other than misting? The last time I misted my plant (with neem oil), I got the buds wet and subsequently had to sacrifice a few bud sites due to mould. I was thinking of wiping down the infected areas with some tissue instead, is this okay?

Not a silly q; they don't unless stressed into producing signle or mutated veg leaves during flowering. Azamax and takedown solution will solve your problem over any other form of pesticides. Simply picking infected areas off won't cure your plants- they will return within a week I promise. Temp control is super important. Keep your temps under 80 preferably under 75 and it will slow their growth a lot. Also you don't want to mist plants afte 1/2 into flower, the buds calyxes will suck in the spray and whoever smokes the bud will get a bit of the anti-most too. There are no ways to effectively apply besides spraying, atomizing, and dipping. Though you cannot dip in solution once in flower. A small infection won't effect your bud. When you harvest though you buds put them in a bag and toss it in the fridge for a few hours and then take out and shake all your bud before you begin to trim- it'll shake off a lot of the microscopic eggs and dead mites. Goodluck!
