one of my plants hos become infested with spider mites.ihave 7 plants and they will be ready in about 4 weeks.the plant that has the most mites on it has 2 weeks left till harvest.i bought a can of pirimiphos-methyl smoke.but am not sure if it is safe to use so close to harvest.plz help
HIGH All, yes predator mites are the answer..but...they work best against the Borg when you first spot them..if you have a major infestation it would be better to use a mite spray against them....the Borg are so hard to get rid of it's Almost impossible to eradicate them fully...the next drastic measure is to remove (kill) All infected plants and clean the room with Bleach and water. Sorry to see you have the Borg...they are some nasty Mothers. Oh I have had the Borg for a month or so and still have them....they are one of the worst enemies of our Sacred Plant.
I couldnt figure out why my plant way dying, and then a couple days ago I was looking at my plant and i saw two little spider mites run up the stem. My plant was beautiful and now it looks like crap. I sprayed my plant with a bleach/water mix...hopefully that will work
