So, I know and have used many of the different ways of killing off spider mites, but I was wondering what your technic is? I like liquid ladybug the best... What do you use?
i use the no pest strips at night/lights off. when the lights come on, i put them in a sealed bag. i only use them when i see bugs. before i start a grow, i bomb the room.
Forbid by Bayer is the best product I have used and I have tried MANY other remedies with poor results at best.
100% pure organic neem oil from Neem resource.com. The only place I know of to get neem cake as well. BeZ...V

I used mighty wash worked wonders both times for me not 1 mite or egg in site after 1 treatment.! Good luck
I have used everything under the sun the only thing that works is hot shot no pest strips. They are 10 bucks and work awesome. Good luck.
They work great. They are about ten bucks for 4 strips. They omit a vapor that kills them they don't harm the plant at all IMO I have tried it all and these things are the shit. Good luck. Oh yea you can get them at any hardware store or lowes or the depot.
people go back and forth on the hot strips on the internet, But from what Ive found, they are like everything else, and work if used correctly. I would not use it too far into flower, but they do work, and they are cheap. Put them in your room, ( as long as the room is not in a living space ) and leave for 3-5 days, then take out and rinse plants down with water. It will kill everything. THEN use neem oil, einstein oil, or liquid lady bug to prevent... Thats just me though. Ive used them, they work but you have to be smart. I see them like a last line, end all type thing...
It's like a mini nuclear bomb for your plant.lol. They work. I've never used them during flowering I refuse to use anything during flowering just because I think it would affected the taste and do you really want to smoke any of that shit.
don't use neem oil in flowering because its not nice to smoke
This is completely FALSE. Neem oil won't be left on the plant when harvested, even if you used it 2 weeks before harvest. BeZ...V
Hello, I just wanted to put my $0.02 worth in here about mites. I had an infestation a few weeks back and thought I had gotten rid of them....Wrong! I also had signs of the "girls" being root bound, so today, I decided to transplant them into larger 5gal containers. Before the transplant procedure this is what I did. I brought them outside VERY carefully as not to disturb the little villains while they were chowing down. I got my garden hose with a nozzle set on a fine mist with lots of pressure behind it and went crazy everywhere. I let them sit foe about an hour to dry off. Next I sprayed the girls with a mixture of dish soap and rubbing alcohol (3tsp liquid soap and 1tsp alcohol in 1 quart of water) Again, I let them sit for an hour for the solution to do it's thing and then I went crazy with the water to wash off all the residue. I let them dry again before bringing them back indoors. The good thing is, that I have checked most of the leaves and haven't found a single mite OR a single egg. Before all of this, I couldn't tell you how many eggs there were, but safe to say, probably 10s of thousands would be a good estimate. I will be using my soap/alcohol spray at least one a week from this point on. I don't want this to happen again during this grow as in about a week they get to start flowering...I can hardly wait......Hope this helps
