Spider Fricken Mites

  1. I have a continues grow with 4 1000w lights. I have 2 cycles under each light. i havest almost every week. i am using a generic spot soil mixed lots of #3 & #1 pertilite. I have a feeling the source of the mites is from the ton of dirt I just brought down in the basement. This isn't my first battle with little frickers but I am seeing things I haven't seen before. I was wondering what to do with these girls? I have mites in all life cycles through out the garden. The veg stage seems kind of under control and i am emptying the following room by trying to let the 8 cycles finish but I'm not sure if that is going to be possible. What should I do with these girls? Thanks!

  2. I cant see any clear spiedermite damge (white spots) on those pics... but if you say theyre there, I believe you ^^
Id spray down everything except the plants that are more than a week or two into flowering with neem oil. that stuff stinks like rotten peanuts for two weeks, but its completely safe for any lifeform with no chitin exosceleton, so it would even be safe to spray the buds, if you dont mind smoking peanut flavoured weed.
go search for more accurate instructions on how to use neem oil, the basics are that you mix a little oil with a lot of water and a little soap and spray at the beginning of the night cycle.

  3. Mighty wash dont dalut it

  4. I believe there is a few critter that have popped their ugly head. The webs have just started showing up a few days ago. The source is the ton of potting soil I carried in a few weeks ago. I bought some that virgin cold pressed organic neem oil and and I going to give the tea from an earlier thread a try to keep things at bay. I read some other threads and have Avid .15ec, Forbid 4f, and Captain Jacks Deadbug on it's way. Would any of you try and push these girls through or cut your looses and move on. I am switching over to a Dutch Bucket recirculating drip system or something like that. No more ton of dirt twice a year.
