I am currently running a 600w hps in a 3ftx3ft and another in a 40inX40in grow tents. I am thinking of making the jump to LEDs and I am wondering how the Spider Farmer SF4000 compares to a 600W HPS in those spaces? Also what can I expect from the Spider Farmer SF4000 as far as coverage, light penetration, Spectrum, heat and of course yield compared to the 600 watt HPS?
I moved to Migrows 8, recently and they kill my old dog(600whps), I do miss the nice but slightly stretched nugs as a great way to prevent mold, I would prefer more red light in my led, but thats just dreaming for now SF4000 should kill your dog good luck
my last grow was in a 40x40 and I used a similar light, but from Mars (FC4800). Prior to this, I flowered under this light, but I did not use a tent: Emergency Rescue with Mars FC 4800 Personally, I find that scrogging gives me the best results since light is maintained at the canopy and penetration is not a huge problem.
