Spider farmer sf1000 led

Discussion in 'Lighting' started by Popcorn, May 27, 2020.

  1. I have never personally grown with hps/mh lights but if you are asking if you will get better performance from 240 watts of good leds is better than a 400 watt hps, i would say it will give at least equivalent yeild with a better product in the end resault. Compared to the people I know that grow with hps my buds come out much denser. Plus you can't beet the energy you save with leds, also if heat is an issue leds are good at cutting down on heat in the tent.

  2. Cool thanks,
So my spending limit would be let's say 200 euro. Would a 230w samgsung lm301b 3500k from aliexpress outperform a 400w hps

  3. I am really impressed with the sf 100 and I cant wait to see how it does for flower. Still no signs of flower yet but I have faith it will start in the next week or so.

No.. i have links on the first page of this thread for the light. That light is an imitation of an hlg 550. The light i am running would be similar to a single board from that fixture but made of much better quality. Some people use those lights with success but i personally would stick with the spiderfarmer led over that.

  5. Starting to see the first signs of pistils showing up on these girls!! My guess is that I just had such unhealthy autos before this they never even got a veg period before starting to flower.

  6. I have run the sf2000 repeatedly, I liked it so much I bought an sf1000 for my clones and early veg tent. I also own an hlg 320. It sits in my closet under a pile of clothes as the spider farmer walked all over it. Just a better spectrum. Better results.

  7. Oh shit i just noticed that I didn't post any pics from the other day!! I took some pics of each plant to show the node spacing. I am very happy with the way the sf1000 is vegging my 3x3 tent :)and the little super skunk has flowered the whole time under the sf and it has nice buds, just not to many of them. Hahaha

  8. Oh man if this site is anything like rollitup.org the HLG fans will eat you alive for saying something like that.

Glad you're happy with the lights though. I have an Alibaba sf1000 and 2 sf2000s on the way so Im looking forward to seeing how they perform.

  12. I've shown several people who grow with T5's and MH for veg my tent with the SF1000 and they are blown away at how well just 90watts of LED can grow esp in a 4x4 area.
