Speck seeds that never develop

This last grow 10 plants all hermied to the point of having very tiny dark speck seeds in over half of the calyxes. Barely effects flavor but you get a few snap crackles every bowl. I noticed this at about 4 weeks in on a plant. I saw the stripe across some of the calyxes of a plant (an indicator of pollination taking place) and examined the bud. Tiny specks inside. Noticed this on all over plants soon. Each week or so, I’d take a bud off one of the plants and inspect. The specks never developed. Never grew in size from week four all the way to week ten. They’re mostly dark and big enough to crackle and sometime even pop a little. Is very strange because I could never find a single ball of banana. Never have encountered these specks that never grow for over a month and a half inside of these striped calyxes. Seems obvious they are undeveloped seeds but is Just odd. No light leaks and very healthy girls. This happened to my indoor AND outdoor plants. Anybody heard of this? Some calyxes went as far as cracking down the center and opening up as a big seeds were ready to pop out Nothing but specks inside. Specks never grew in size on a single calyx on all of the plants

 

The strains were from Bodhi (silver mountain) Dinafem ( dinachem and deep cheese) Ace seeds ( Kali China and PCK) Royal queen seeds( special queen) and serious seeds ak47. Last two grows all plants have speck seeds inside half of calyxes. The specks never grow in size. I’ve experience hermits but never with miniature specks like this. Never a single seed that’s even half developed. I guess you’d just have to be here go watch it all take place to see what I mean. It’s different than a normal hermie situation

 

Also, I noticed this issue early into flower. Kali China and Serious ak are very stable strains. The Kali China was the worst off of all plants with this issue.

 

Man, the only thing I can think of is the epsoma top dressing. It’s the only thing I’ve done different these last few grows. Top dressed every few weeks in addition to my normal liquid feet schedule. Water seemed to not drain as well in pots I’m currentky using. Plants never get that overwater look but maybe a case of constant slight overwater. Trying to think of what the factor could be. I’m paranoid about my water at this point. Distrusting of the epsoma product. Lol. Perhaps something bad in it for cannabis all of a sudden. Also is a new grow room. No light leaks I’m sure. It’s to the point where I now wonder if the air itself in the new room is somehow doing this. Sounds very silly but I swear there are no light leaks. Plants were very healthy from start to finish. No leaf tip burn or early deficiencies. Two times in a row. Pretty sure this is going to drive me insane until next harvest. I’m already looking at my new sprouts with less confidence. Not the usual happy feel when popping new strains. Damn hermies
