specific strains being used for specific ailments...

Discussion in 'Medical Cannabis: Treatments & Patient Experiences' started by falselight, Mar 1, 2007.

  1. hey folks, i did some quick searching on the boards to see if anyone had a list going of what different cannabis strains are best suited for the many different ailments that can be treated by cannabis but to no avail. i remember not too long ago stumbling upon a site that listed a handfull of of strains and what they were good for (medically speaking) and i think it would be awesome if we could get a sticky thread going for quick patient reference. i also read in the newest issue of high times (which is a great issue by the way- good growing article and mandala seeds interview/budshots. damn the sadhu bud in the centerfold looks AMAZING. but i digress...) that the strain "Afghani Bullrider" is good for Crohn's Disease and the person who wrote the growing article said that it is his wife's medicine of choice for her ailment.

i'll see if i can find that site again and post the link. take it easy everyone  :smoking:

  2. I wonder if JeffTek wrote that article. I think he is married to Michelle Rainey (one of the BC 3) but I could be wrong. Michelle has crohn's disease and seems to grow nothing but Afghani Bullrider.
