Check out a flick called Special. You can stream it on Netflix. I mentioned it in another thread, but this deserves it's own thread. It tells of a man who takes part in a drug test trial for something to treat depresion. It has an adverse reaction and causes him to take up psychotic mental illness. He ends up thinking he has super powers and that he can be a hero to his community. It's pretty funny in a subtle way that can make you lol, but it's pretty Damn sad at the same time.. one of the sadder things I've watched in a while actually... Check it out
I'd never heard of him prior but he did a really good job in this one. I wrote this thread as I was watching the movie... so I hadn't had time to see some things worth mentioning. It has a few moments, espcially in the last 30 minutes or so, that are kinda cheesy. It doesn't kill the movie or anything. I've read a lot of people saying the soundtrack was bad... I actually thought some of the songs worked pretty well
