Here I am all nice and stoned, listening to music when I turn on the TV and see CNN, those damn news bastards had to make me feel all bad by telling me that the space shuttle had disintegrated on re-entry. Damn, well this next toke's for those 'nauts and their families. Shit, this is my 600th post too.
I've been watching this all morning. I was prepeared to watch them land and then they lost contact with the shuttle. It's a very sad thing that's happened. There were 7 people on board, 5 men, 2 women and one of the men was the first Israeli ever on a mission. Here's a link to an article on it. http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/space/02/01/shuttle.columbia/index.html
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/2717199.stm for any interested here is a BBC news article. ill be thinking good thoughts for them and their families. ick
Damn. I work at one of the alternate shuttle landing sites and the shuttle had just crossed overhead on initial reentry. I didn't see the reentry or breakup.
