Just saw the gameplay from the E3 broadcast. Its nice to see a game that seems to stick so closely to the Warhammer lore [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VUMAAVZ19A]YouTube - Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine E3 2011 Trailer[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vskKGCpSb0]YouTube - Space Marine: Developer Diary #2 - Combat System[/ame] cant find the E3 2011 footage Yes some of the gameplay was certainly inspired by gears of war, but that for sure doesnt mean its a clone. seems to be a lot more variety in gameplay in this game than in gears of war also it looks like we will be playing as ultramarines. fuck yeah. I played WH40k in the 90s. played as space wolfs. this game has me so stoked.

I hope they have a dank multiplayer. Like Left 4 Dead meets Horde mode. 4 Space Marines defending against 15,000 tyranids, or 1900 orks with big bosses every 100 orks. And I mean this game is perfect to just make you ultra powerful as a player, that's how WH40K is set up, a Space Marine is the equivalent of thousands of orks and tyranids combined. I mean a dozen Ultra Marines defended a whole planet against a siege. When they were able to find the bodies of the then dead marines there were just walls of bodies around them.
