Can i sow right into the ground without using buckets? Can i still grow dank that way? How big will the plants get with 10+ hours of direct sunlight. Planning to sow in may and harvest in september.
I wouldn't sow directly but make them grow in small buckets in your place close to a window and then transplant them directly in the ground (at night to avoid stress). Just check that the soil there is not too chalky. That way you need less ferts and water, and the plants will grow taller and healthier. If you can it's a good idea to lightly plough soil few weeks before the transplant. Also you can plant some garlic close to them: it will act as a natural defense against various diseases.
