I've sowed to seeds in pot of moist soil and mixed with compost how long is it likley to take before I see the little plant grow? Someone said Sowing them in tissue would be better and quicker I tried this and ended up crushing the seeds. So how long do I have to wait for it to grow from the soil and should I keep adding water to keep it moist becouase the soils pretty moist already but it could be wetter. If this batch of DP Mazar doesn't work out I'll order some dutch passion white widow and try again.
you can add a bit water so it can sence that it needs to grow.. dont worry about the soil being a bit moist already.. you should see it anywhere from 2-5 or 6 days....

i like to add a little bit of plastic wrap to the top of my cups while i wait for the plant to come through the soil. it keeps the moisture from evaporating too fast. as soon as the seed pokes through, take the plastic wrap off though.
Couldn't find aplastic cover that would fit the groe put so I just coverd it with plastic the best I could and put paper over it
sounds good. the whole point of the wrap is to keep the moisture in the best you can. i'm sure you did fine.
