Just picked up one of these bad boys. I'm using it my Matrix Mobius Nano... and I got the 5.5" down stem length (6" including top of joint), which goes slightly farther into the bong than the stock one (which was 5.25"). *** doesn't have one that size so it was either a quarter inch longer or shorter. I opted for longer... almost cost me as it was very close to not fitting... Anyway.. So now it's only about a quarter inch off the glass. I still use the bottom of the Cali engraving as my water level, but I'm unsure of which way to point the gridding. Since it's so close the bottom I faced them down, hoping bouncing off the glass would break up the smoke even more. Was curious what blades with a similar setup do
I would face the grids downward also. Downward = More diffusion, less airy Upward = More airy It's really preference.
I tried it both ways when I had mine and it was better up for sure, kinda like a stemline but not really.
I'd say try it both ways cause it's def a preference thing, i'd also like to say that matrix mini mobi's rip like a champ, and i will hopefully be adding one to my collection after the holiday.
