Sour OG Kush- 50th Day Flowering & Question

    Here are some pics below of a Sour Diesel X OG Kush clone grown out and on it's 50th day @ 12/12. This plant is under approx 150W of CFL light (mostly soft white with one daylight blub). I have been feeding with advanced nutrients' BIG BUD formula and started last week with their OVERDRIVE product. I am a CA Medical Marijuana patient and got this clone from a local clinic. A couple people told me to expect about 58 days of flowering until this plant, but it doesn't look close to being done to me. I wanted to allow at least 2 weeks to flush this one before I harvested, so I was wondering how long all you thought this plant has left.

    I have very limited space, hence the LST and otherwise smallish plant. So... what do you think?

    Thanks for the feedback... from looking at the plant, can anyone give me a best estimate as to how much longer it has left?

    Go buy yourself a 30x microscope from radioshack. They are like $10. And then look at the trichs. You can tell when it is ready to harvest by the clear-cloudy-amber %s

    Yup.

    Your looking for about 50% cloudy 50% Amber on the trichs. I would say anywhere between 2-3 weeks from today you should harvest. I think it may be safe to start your flush, although you really only need to flush for about 5-7 days.

    I have an 8 megapixel digital camera that allows me to zoom close enough to check out the trich color. As of day 51, all trichs are still clear... maybe a small portion being cloudy. 2-3 weeks from today puts it at about 63-70 days finishing time... that sounds reasonable. I just thought it would finish a bit earlier than that given the OG Kush genetics in the plant. I believe Sour Diesel finishes at about the 70 day mark.

    Hey big dawg. just thought id drop by since im growing 6 OGsourdiesels myself at the moment (journal link in my sig). I was told by the fella at the clinic i purchased these clones that the OGkush genetics do in fact shorten the flowering period by about a week to a week and 1/2'. obviously though trichs are a sure fire bet. Just keep checkin the color cause those cloudy trichs will start going amber in a matter of days. Best of luck cant wait to hear about the smoke!

    63 days seems about right. All the Og's i've grown have taken around 9 weeks with cfls.

    Nice little plant bignick. I used to flower clones like that when first starting out.

    yea you needa check the trichs with a microscope

    but its okay to start you flush now i would say, your plant is relatively done growing and starting the flush early wont hurt it
