sour diesel vs northern lights?

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by greenmachine269, Mar 17, 2010.

  1. the 2 strains are in my town. the nl is overpriced but i think is better. i just wanna know which you guys like better. or which is more dank.

  2. I've heard great things about both haha. If there's anyway you can eye both the strains before choosing that's what i'd do

  3. I have smoked the NL, but Sour D is probably my favorite strain...the smoke is nice and smooth not to mention tasty and the high seems pretty evenly distributed as for head/body. If the D is cheaper I say go for it.:smoking:

  4. the d is cheaper. i think im gunna get that its gunna be easier.

  5. i havent tried northern lights but sour d's have a good heady high

  6. if its real NYC sour deis, then its maaad nice get it, i havent smoked lights but my friend said its mad dank but idk if its danker than deisel

  7. if its LEGIT, i say sour D. beware though, most of the times when a dealer says he has sourd or NL, its probably just high mids he's trying to get rid of. but if it is legit i say get the sour d

  8. NL is a regular for me, so i'd say sour D. they both are good if its legit, so if sour D is cheaper get that.

  9. I just had some insane Northern Lights x Sour Diesel cross in my town. Weirdest smelling weed I've ever had!

  10. Unfortunately both strains are frequently counterfeited or faked. Make sure the sour deisel smells like a deisel truck and make sure the northern lights is dank.

  11. Is there even such thing as an official string these days? It seems you can call anything.....anything you want. How do people really know if it's Northern Lights? How do people really know who was growing it?

Makes me wonder how many people are being ripped off.

  12. NYC Diesel and Sour Diesel are two different strains...

  13. never tried NL i heard its dank though its in pineapple express it has to be dank but i have tried sour D i really liked it imo if u can get both haha

I'd personally go with the NL over the Sour D, but I know of others who would disagree with me. I might be a little biased because she was also the first strain I've ever smoked and have many fond memories of her. NL has an unmistakeable taste, full flavored and hashy, lung expanding smoke. Depending on which NL it is, it will have a slight variation.. NL#5 is the most stable pheno and has slightly more Sativa genes. It's definately a heavy couchlock stone but doesn't burn you out like many Kushes do. Definitely one of my favorite strains.:smoke:
