Can anyone tell me what size pots i should use i have ten plants going in a 10ft buy 3 and a half ft space with 2x 600 watts and will these lights leave a big thermal foot print the rooms been made in the loft and made from kingspan 25 mm thick boards ? got 4 inc air flow coming in and 5inc air flow going out i'm getting all sorts of horror storys
your pretty much limited to your space. I cant imagine you will be able to use any bigger then 3 gallon pots, I like to go with at least 5 but you really cant with the space. what do you mean by footprint ? of what? You should make the inlet and outlet the same . I beleive that creates a negative pressure to keep in odor.You might want to google that last fact. what are the basis of your horror stories?
A 10 x 3 room for ten plants gives you 3 sq ft per plant. That's enough room for 5 gallon containers if they're 12" or less. If they're not, you could use 5 gallon for most of the plants and 3 gallons for a couple. Or you could look for some rectangular containers. Are you talking about police copters with heat sensors? I really don't know, but I have a little space heater that's 1500W. Is the loft heated? Is it insulated?
