NPR is public broadcasting. They do and always have received the vast majority of their funding from private donors. Dronetek is inferring that these donors receive some kind of editorial influence in exchange for their money, which there is absolutely no evidence of. If people want to hold NPR and PBS to a higher standard due to the tax dollars they receive then that's great, however, the only criticism I've seen coming from the right wing has been petty and deceitful slander. Personally, I think I'm over the whole bias in the media debate. It's a pointless waste of time. I just thought it was a bit ironic that the media's most influential behind the scenes figure is using his own network to make false claims that some other unfriendly billionaire is essentially trying to do the same thing he is.
Soros has stated that his goals are to take down Fox and Republicans. NPR has not done any kind of investigative journalism in to Soros and they regularly follow the typical left wing/MSM line.
