Sore throat?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by ehngage, Sep 26, 2011.

  1. How do sore throats, and colds in general effect you when you smoke? for me, if I have a sore throat, and I smoke. It will hurt. But the next morning I feel completely fine! My wife says it doesn't help her cold get any better. How about you guys?

  2. Smoking when I have a cold or a sore throat helps, mix with with some codeine (over the counter in the UK of course) and the throat pain is forgotten.

Cannabis on its own does a fantastic job too, obviously. ;)

  3. Technically the act of smoking can cause upper respiratory irritation, but as is demonstrated by the first two posts, it can have other effects.

It doesn't really effect my colds/sore throat, as far as I can tell.

  4. Im not sure it makes my cold go away any sooner than if i hadnt been smoking... only makes the experience a little easier to handle.

  5. smoking usually causes my sore throats because of the high temp smoke or vapor

  6. Whenever I have a cold smoking usually makes me feel great.
