Sometimes...

  1. I really dislike working nights. I usually work until 11pm or midnight and by the time I'm home, everyone seems to have gone to bed or gone offline. jeez. I just wanna toke and chill out with someone.

anyone else on here work late shifts?

  2. Sweetie, I am going to highjack your post for your own good!  Did you see this recent article?

Breast cancer risk link to night shifts

I am going to tell you how to lessen your risk of breast cancer and get higher on cannabis! Take Omega 3!  There have been several PubMed studies that show that a high level of Omega 6, combined with a low level of Omega 3, increases your risk of breast cancer (and other problems)!  The average American diet is a "set-up" for bad health!

This will help you get more Omega 3 in your diet.

Now about that getting higher part! :smoking:   THC activates chemical receptors called CB1 receptors. When those activated receptors are in the hippocampus part of your brain, you get high! :yay:    When you don't get enough Omega 3, those CB1s are made defectively! A tiny piece, the G i/o effector protein, doesn't get glued down right, it is left "uncoupled"!  This results in a "dud" receptor that can't do its job.  If too many receptors are "duds", bad things happen!  Among those bad possibilities are depression, mental illness, cancer, and not getting your maximum high!

These are on depression and how Omega 3 can affect it-

Watch what you eat and take your omega 3! Get off the night shift when you can. Take good care of yourself! :yay:

  3.
Someone has to work those hours >.>

  4. So that's justification for putting yourself at more risk? Haha

  5.
Sorry, I can't just not pay bills.

  6. Thanks for the info granny. My wife's mother passed away from cancer so this is some good info for her.

  7. It's cool, we basically all get cancer anyway or some form of disease.

  8. All this whining is pointless, if you don't like your job then quit if you don't want to quit then stop complaining.

  9.
You just defended the rights of a discussion board in your other thread.

  10. Omm nom nom. Eat them up troll!

  11. Has nothing to do with trolling, it's pure logic, why do something you don't like?

If you hate working at night then quit if you don't want to quit then stop complaning/whining and accept that everyone pretty much hates their job.

  12. Thanks for the links, Storm Crow! :) I shall read through them, and will def look into Omega-3.
I'll def get off the night shift as soon as I can, but at the moment, it is one of the few jobs flexible enough for the number of hours I need while I'm at uni. :(

    ahaha oh god.

  13. Awe hey what's under this bridge here??
    A troll!

Know what I like even better then her whining? Your whining about her whining!

  14. You have no right to complain about anything, be happy that you even have a job, if you do not like how you are treated then quit and if you don't wanna quit or have no other options then stop whining/complaning and accept that most people hate their jobs and most of them don't complain.

    Stop looking for pity.

  15. didn't even realise he had appeared here. wow. he just pops up everywhere. lol

  16. Its cool OP. Don't listen to that kid in the corner hollering some shit. He probably just mad he still lives at home. Huh Hog?

Work until 11pm? That's not working nights. I spent a few years working 10pm till 6am. THAT sucks. :)

I work 2nd shift now, and get home around midnight. I like it, but I enjoy my solitary time. In the mornings I can get out and around getting things done while everyone else is at work, and when I get home a bowl is always waiting for me to sit back and relax a bit before bed. Not to mention I miss all the rush hour traffic.

  18. Kind of like crabgrass

  19. true, definitely wasn't trying to invalidate anyone who do work overnight shifts. :) have done a couple of them at my previous job, and they did suck haha.
you're right. there are positives to working till midnight, and it definitely keeps the money coming in. haha, guess I just need to find more night owl friends, which will happen eventually. just needed to vent slightly. :)

  20. if only it was possible to pull the crabgrass out of this post. haha
