Super Stoned right now but just had to share.. so when I was a kid I played "Megaman Legends" on ps1. I loved that game so much, I was able to immerse myself into it. So I was on what I assume would be the very last boss battle because of how intense the fight was, when all of a sudden my dad kicks in the door to let me know I am grounded for literally 6 months because of grades and behavior at school and what not. When I was finally off grounding I lost interest in a lot of things and never played the game again but it was always in the back of my mind. So today I got a good deal on a ps1 and the guy had Megaman Legends!! So as excited as I am to close a chapter of my life I get home and played for 6hrs strait. Due to my excitement and being stoned I didn't realize I set the ps1 directly on my super shag carpet.. so right as I am on the very same boss battle that I was on as a kid, the screen goes dark and I notice this hot metal smell. I pick up the ps1 and the bottom side literally burns the shit out of my hand. I burnt the thing out because I blocked the air vents I assume.. of there was some sort of strong coincidence keeping me from beating this game, point taken. I never played Megaman, but like 12 years ago or something like that, a few friends and i would go over to another friends house, 2 brothers, and watch them play Megaman lol. Good times. That sucks tho man, hopefully your PS1 will work after it cools down. Did it really take you only 6 hours to get to the final boss? How long did it take you as a kid? haha that's cool man, I used to like watching my friends brothers play resident evil when I was a kid. But yeah only 6 hours because I skipped all the side quests and didn't go exploring because I already knew what to do and what I needed from my first play through as a kid. When I was a kid though it tool me a good month lol. I played every side quest and went to every part of the map looking for interesting stuff. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
