So I've been having all sorts of grow problems.. See my other posts. pH being a good part of it. So I got a better pH meter and a new cheap back up one Calibrate both then notice something new to me. Cold tap water on cheap pen would read around 8.0 something. On better one in the 7 range UNTIL the water is room temp the they are almost identical. I guess better pen adjusted for temperature. I didn't know the PH meters work that way. I'll test this again.
i dont see your other post maybe you can provide some background information. Growing medium. light tent size, feeding schedule etc.
Many municipal water sources purposely produce alkaline water, apparently to protect metal pipes from acid. Mine is over 9.0

I'm transition to a more organic approach. Takes time I have been asking questions here And was trying to give a little something back to help someone like myself just learning the hard way. Sorry for posting in the wrong place, Using foxfarm ,4x4 tent. Multiple issue s the biggest one that hurt me was spider mites which I'm still dealing with just want to get my plants better flower them.and out and start over
