'Round About Midnight (Written while listening to the Miles Davis Album of the same name) 'Round about midnight when all the cars have been put to bed except the occasional misfit like you. With no one around but the buildings, you're free to do whatever it is you please. Walk down the middle of the road without a car in sight. The rain has been falling, quietly, now for for hours. The thin layer of moisture coats the road making it look, for a fraction of a second, as if no one had ever even stepped foot on it. It shines. Then the shine is lost as the street lights, one by one, begin to flicker on. This sudden illumination shows the world as it really is: a desolate, unforgiving place. So this is the first time I've ever posted anything I've written. Lemme hear some thoughts!
