Need helps fellas I can not figure this out it’s not temp or humidity it can’t be temp is 73 humidity is 56% there in 5 gallon buckets for 45 days now if veg the light is 20 inches away and I kno I’ll get hate for this but using mg soil it’s been great nothing wrong till this the other day but have no idea what it is hope it and pest and I don’t feed nutes do to mg has a lot in it I do have calmag just Incase for them sometimes
Looks like it could be overwatering or too much nitrogen in the soil I had similar problems on my first grow using that MG soil that has those time release clearish yellow beads. The more you water the more they get rocked. I switched to all organic soils with no time release in them and use bottled nutes and havent had many problems since.
I would reccomend transplanting those into a different kind of soil for sure before you start flowering too as those time release ferts will give off too much nitrogen for flowering stage. I knew my MG plants wouldn't survive if I didnt transplant before flower so I swapped to root farms hydro mix and the plants loved it instantly just had to crumble as much of the mg out of the root zone before the transplant but there will always still be some of that mg time release deep in the rootball area.
What’s a good npk value you recommend for a soil at like Lowe’s I also have some strawberry fields soil from fox farms but seems really high in npk
That stuff should work good pretty similar to what I had. I have heard lots of good things about fox farms but i live in Canada and to get it here is like 80$ a bag plus 20$ shipping so I just stick to this cheap stuff 10$ for a 50 liter bag called premier potting soil seedlings do awesome in it for about 3 weeks then start getting deficiencies then I just use all the nutes from a hollands secret personal grow box and they start thriving. Just anything without time release you could fill some pots and flush that ff strawberry a few times and it wouldn't be so hot.
