Here is the description on Amazon:
This story details a journey taken by an American woman with her young daughter following the American re-discovery of the evolution of Conscious Awareness and other New Age explorations of Spirituality in the late 1960's. The journey carried her through the early 1970's across Africa, India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Her quest was to find her own truth (separate from the values of her culture), to understand the purpose of life, if indeed there was a purpose, and whether there was meaning for the individual as we are each connected in this seemingly infinite existence. Instead of overly intellectualizing "about" life, she wanted to experience it and reconcile the dichotomies taught to her and how those religious and cultural philosophies defined God, Immortality, and the Presence of Spirit.
From West Africa to East Africa, across the Indian Ocean to Karachi, Pakistan and Bombay, India, south to Sri Lanka and back north to Mother Theressa's House of the Dying in Calcutta, and finally into the Himalayas in Nepal, this is an inspirational and lighthearted tale told with a unique personal writing style, detailing one journey to answer the quintessential human question, "What's it all about?"
