I think I might have nitrogen toxicity can someone please take a look and let me know, the larger ones look fine but you will know which ones I am talking about
At that size, convention says they shouldn't be getting any nutrients at all. So I'd suspect you're right. I'd try going to a clean water flush for a week, see if that helps, if it does, wait another week before you start giving them nutes. PLEASE don't tell me that's Miracle Grow soil, or another soil that's "pre fertilized". Dry nutrients work by being dissolved in water as it passess over it. As a result, concentration is stronger by the nutrient node, weaker farther away from it. End result is high chance of burning roots close to a node, starving them farther from it...either of which WILL damage and CAN kill the root. Some people get fine results using MG or other "pre-fertilized" soil, but IMO, due to how they work, and potential damage from it, it's not worth taking the chance.
------------------ theres nothing wrong with your seedlings ,apart that they could do with some more soil/compost in their pots to stop them falling over,,,plus they should not need any nutes just yet if your using decent soil/compost ,,,,so just top up them pots and only just damp the soil ,dont over water else the stems will rot ,plus what lights are you using the stretch could be caused by 2 things lights to far away or seedling to hot,,,,,,,mac
Uuuuhhhh.... No Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum Why are all of your responses so damn long. Seriously, every thread you go into. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
LOL...partially because I'm usually using a dictation program due to physical capabilities interfering with fine motor control, not typing. Partially because I've never been one to give an answer without an explanation, so it can be applied by others without me doing the work over and over again to give them a short and sweet answer that specifically applies to them.
Yes... Those seedlings look great. I would top them up like has been said. Also do your cups have holes in the bottom for drainage?
Looks fine, top with foxfarm or roots organics soil Also, your right plants are stretching, try to get better light distribution
I took into account everything you guys said, for the plants that were getting twisted leaves I flushed them because, yes I am using miracle grow, and it has helped this is an update picture of my crop also I lowered the lights. At first I was scared my lights were to close so I moved them back and yes, my cups have drainage holes
Yes I have drainage holes and because you are a respected forum user I figure you know what your talking about, I'm going to keep posting updates on here do you think you could check back every once in a while so we can conversation and problem solve.? I'm a first time grower

Okay thanks I don't know if I'm gonna switch bulbs because of heat and ventilation probs and they are only Reggie plants and I'm on a very low budget.
and dont forget closetfarmer ,when you swap to sodium lights you need a fan in that grow space blowing over the tops of the plants and light,,,mac,
I would move the lights as close as you can, literally less than 3 inches. I have been growing mine for almost a month with the cfls basically touching the leaves without any issues.
=================== yea they are looking a lot better now ,,,and if you can do as GhtFupt above suggests move the lights a bit closer ,ive got a 125w cfl and put it about 3-4 above the plants ive got with no burns,,,,,mac
