Some questions on 600W setup

    \t\t A few questions:

    1. Looking for opinions or options on a 600W digital, dual voltage ballast. SS Galaxy looks good. If you had the choice, would you run 120 or 240?

    2. The galaxy 600W ballast is compatible with these bulbs. Is one notably better than the others? (In other words, which one would you buy?):

    Grolux, Plantastar, Philips C600, Eye LU, GE, SolarMax, SunMaster SL, SolarMax MH conversion lamps, SunMaster MH conversion lamps, Gavita.

    3. GH or AN 3-part?

    4. Anything else needed other than FloraKleen, CM+, pH up/down?

    5. For you DWC'ers, any idea how many 4-bucket grows 1 gallon jugs of the above listed nutes will last after topoffs, res changes, etc...?

    You probably got enough for a year or 2. A quart of 1-part nutrient last 2 grows for me. I run a 18 gal resevoir(which has a carrying capacity of 12-13 gals. Hope this helped. Also, it takes about 3-4 times as much nutes during flower as veg. As for res changes plan on your first change at 2 weeks and after that every week, for best results.

    in theory you will get slightly better efficiancy with 240v. some self proclaimed electricians will argue, but it's true. i'd go with the Eye conversion bulb too.
