Some of my weed is black...?

You cannot borrow a friend's camera for a few minutes? I would like to see these black buds.. Are they legit black or are they dark purple perhaps? Only have ever seen a blackish (was not anywhere near totally black) bud in a bag of yucky ditch dope that a kid had shown me.

 

see if the black scrapes off, you might have yourself some mold, man. Also, is the bud hard? not squishy like, like a regular bud would be?

I've had black bud but it was schwag in the Bahamas. It was a very dark grey, but it got me high lol. And it wasn't mold because it was a consistent color throughout

 

i was actually getting black buds a few months ago

it was some pretty descent beasters with no seeds, dense but not brick.
and i did a thorough inspection of them and could not figure out what it was like some of it was on the untrimmed leaves but part of it was on the bud, i tried to rub it off but it didnt, there was also black inside the buds when you broke it open, yes they where a little crunchy but i found that when i smoked it it tasted better then the green weed on the same bud or any of the non black buds... and it got me twice as high for twice as long.
anyways some kid complained about geting some in his bag so from then on when i would get a zip i would just break off all the black parts for personal smoking cause it smoked way better.

my best guess is mold but that would make the quality lower i would think but in my experience it did the opposite.

 

i had some weed called blackberry that was black like that. Actually its was very purple when it was harvested and it cured into a very deep and dark purple, but when u broke open the bud u could still see a little purple.

 

if only a few are like that out of the zip, id either say mold or someone smoked a couple bowls for a hit and tossed it back in the sack. the latter being fucking weird if that happened.

 

A few weeks ago, my friend got an eigth of some bud with black and brown spots in it, that smelled like coffee. We proceeded to call it Java Kush.

and there was nothing wrong with it, decent mids and a nice high- but I was a little suspicious. It may have tasted a little different but I may have been mildy drunk, My memory is a little fuzzy of that night.

does it smell the same as the green bud? it may be a blend that the guy gave you instead of solely one strain. besides i've heard of weed having black in it, forget what the strain was though

Yeah dude a while ago I got the same sounding stuff. black outside and inside. still smoked nice but i had no idea why it looked funny.
