  1. My plant is a magnesium loving plant and I read that magnesium promotes central growth which makes sense in my case. My plant is about 1 week into flowering and only 14 inches tall and its also slowed down. The first week of 12/12 it grew 2-3 inches and it seems to have slowed down now.

Is this the correct type of Epsom Magnesium salts I'm looking for to mix into this fertalizer mix?

The only reason I'm concerned is because this package claims it "TURNS HYDRANGEAS BLUE!" ?

This the right magnesium Epsom salt I'm looking for?

    Epsom Salt Fertilizer

    Use in Place Of:
    Houseplant food
    Vegetable fertilizer
    Rose plant food
    What You Need:
    1 Tablespoon Epsom Salt
    1 gallon waterA
    watering can
    Preparation:
    1. Combine the Epsom salt and water.
    2. Use the solution to water your plants.
    3. Repeat once a month.
    Why This Works:
Epsom salt is made up of magnesium and sulfate – both vital plant nutrients.

  2. Has anyone got anything on this that may be useful?

  3. the reason that stuff turn a hydraingea blue is because it lowers the ph.

the one you want you can get at any drugs store. usually where they keep the laxatives. it comes in a box that looks like a milk carton.

and it is magnesium sulfate not magnesium and sulfate. well thats what they call it but it does have both in it ;)
