some noob growing questions

    hey all i have been lurking around reading alot into growing and well want to start probably this june/july, when i'll have the funds to get started the right way. i will be building either a 4ftx4ft or 6ftx6ft flowering room, a cloning site, and a 3ftx2ftx3ft veg/mother chamber a few questions i have been thinking about are:

    - I'm looking to produce a continuous cycle and be able to get buds every 2-4 weeks, wat kind of cycle would that need? i'm pretty much drawing a blank when it comes to thinking how i would go about doing this, i knwo i'll clone and keep producing but would their be a specific cycle to start cloning and be able to produce like this?

    - i'm gonna run a 1,000 watt hps system in teh flower room, and maybe a 600 watt mh system in the veg chamber, the clones will probably be uner flouros. does anyoen have expierence running a gas generator with their lights, and what size would be a good one to run the to hid lights and maybe the flouros if needed?

    The setup sounds pretty intense...

    - You would grow out some mothers and then constantly cut clones which you would root --> veg --> flower. So once you got up and running you would be taking clones every few weeks and then putting them through the cycle. So everything would be staggered with plants in all stages of growing at all times.

    - No idea on the generator except it is going to cost a lot of money to run it 24/7.

    I hope you realize you'll need some serious ventilation to put those big lights in those small spaces. Especially the 600w in a 2x3 ft area, that's overkill. For those spaces, 600w and 400w would work great and really cut down on power use. But if you can handle the bigger lights' heat and power draw, more power to ya. To harvest every 4 weeks, just take new clones every 4 weeks. Once they root, flower immediately, or give them some veg time if you wish. As long as you put a new plant into flowering every 4 weeks, you'll harvest every 4. Good luck!

    yea sorry about that i didnt mean a 600w in teh small veg chamber, probably more around a 250w or 400 like you said but i was still thinking a 1000 watt for the flower room just cuz i thought teh rule of thumb was atleast 100 watts per plant and i was just gonan grow around 10 at a time

    and as for the generator i need to look into it more, i know it may cost more to run it but its better than sending up teh red flag at the electric company
