So, I'm a pretty active person as far as it comes to what our government is doing and how its affecting us as a people and a nation and where it may lead us. And a good bit of my friends are to. So me and one of these friends were just having a conversation as to the illusion of rights. He told me to read this: EDIT: This does not discuss the government or anything like that. It discusses how we interpret things as real or false based on what we are taught by those around us and raised to believe and what our reaction would be if we were shown that our existence is false and what would happen if you tried to take someone out of a false reality and into reality. Plato's Allegory of the Cave Takes about 20 minutes to read. Well worth it. Post your reactions, I'd love to see how different people interpret (spelling? I am very, very stoned and for the life of me can't spell this right) this.
Great read, remember reading that a few years ago. Edit: if you like Plato discussion look up 'The Republic.'
My friend is pretty crazy about Zeitgeist. I've yet to look into it, whats it about? Moving on to that next Read about it when I was looking for this. Also looking into Martin Buber's The I and Thou. From what hes said, its a pretty classic mind fuck.
I was just joking but they just put out conspiriacy type videos. Pretty fun to watch if you have nothing to do. Look up Federal Reserve Zeitgeist on youtube.
Code: Yea, not my thing at all. I like facts. I look into what the government really says and does. Not false media to stir people up. But that stuff can be funny when your bored and stoned. Lol.
You guys took that the wrong way. Lol. I meant I pay attention to legislation that is being passed, what legislation they are trying to pass, and what different government agencies are doing. I could care less what they say at press releases or try to tell us through the news. That, is a heaping pile of bullshit.
