Some controversial FACTS ive gathered from a lifetime of smoking weed

Discussion in 'General' started by Wooker T Brahshington, Feb 13, 2014.

  1. It is DEFINITELY a drug.

Other than people in chemo or other extreme conditions, it really does not benefit anyone. People always mention, especially here, all the "benefits" pot gives them. Bullshit. I have found that every person who uses weed to "study" or "relieve anxiety", actually just really likes to get high, and wont admit that. Thats not a bad thing, i smoke weed because its fun and gets me high. Nothing else. Deep down you KNOW you just like to get baked. Just be honest about it.

Some people definitely cannot handle regular marijuana use. I have met plenty of people like this. No matter how many excuses they make, its obvious to the adults in the room that they are incapable of regular thc ingestion while also being a functional, contributing member pf society.

Pot may not be physically addicting, but i almost never meet true "weekend warrior" smokers. Most people i know smoke every day and whenever they get the chance. Not univerally true, but a definite commality i have noticed.

    Flame away blades.

  2. Who here is saying it's not a drug? Anything mind altering is a drug..

  3. Disagree. When I smoke a certain strain (Durban Poison) I get the urge to write poems, jokes, stories, ideas for movies, anything to do with writing literature. And I act on those urges and write things, it's not just a thought. Whereas I would never do these things when not having smoked that strain. To say pot does nothing besides feel enjoyable is a blatant lie.

  4.
    1. Yes we know it's a drug.

    2. Weed definitely does help relieve stress and help induce sleep. So saying it doesn't benefit anyone is not an accurate statement.

    3. I agree some people cannot handle their weed well, but I've met plenty who can.

    4. This is a pot, stop referring to weed as pot.

  6. I'm not gonna necessarily flame you.
You are right I love to get baked. But I have been diagnosed for "benign tremors" and I got sick of poppin sedatives and seizure meds trying to find out what helps. I have been on hard core meds for like 3-4 years.
But I don't take any pills anymore, I just smoke indicas and the occasional sativa.
It does help, and I get baked on the side, I can barely notice the tremors anymore they occur like once a week versus uncountable times a day. I used to feel like something was wrong when I wasn't "shaking" just little twitches but they were noticeable and annoying.
I don't pop pills from big pharma anymore and my anxiety has completely reversed.
Also I got hardcore addicted to my
pills at 17... I was afraid to stop taking them just because I didn't wanna face withdrawals....
Now I only blaze and can take t breaks when I feel like I'm smokin too much.

That's just my opinion, as you have your opinion. Facts, saying it's so don't make it so! :p

  8. I'll admit I like to get high, just like I like to get drunk sometimes. But ya it helps my back pain for sure.

  9. Yawn. Go look up the benefits of using cannabis medicinally.

It helps me relax, to sleep, to have a more positive outlook on life.
Marijuana isn't very recreational for me...

  11. I don't smoke to get high.

I agree with the some people can't handle THC. I'm like that, so that's why I smoke high CBD, low THC strains so I can get the medical benifits. I actually hate feeling high.

  14. I love getting high! But it also keeps my schizophrenia in check. And my indomitable back pain. And it helps me sleep.

    knives heated dull red
    release sweet smoky nectar
    I am lifted high

  15. Well I wont lie I just like to get high, but I have met people that actually use weed for some medical reasons. Weed helps with my insomia actually though I used to stay up all night I had to take these pills to get to sleep, but nothing helps like a good indica strain.

  16. thank God's someone hit him with the granny list!

  17. not a single controversial fact in your post. no one is disputing that weed is a drug. it does relieve anxiety. people going through chemo are not the only people benefiting from its medicinal properties. no one is disputing that mental addiction exists. this post is obviously just baiting for a reaction.

  18. Well it's a case study, it's mine against yours.
    It's helped me.
    That one to one.
Maybe seven people thus far have said it's helped them or someone.
So we're at eight to one. Marijuana wins! Thanks for playing. Sharon, tell us what OP wins. "Well U.U., she get's a nice bag of mids, an eighth." Nice, well thanks for playing, that's all folks.
