solo cups

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by sosogrow, Feb 24, 2023.

  1. well i decided to germinate on the paper towel then into jiffy pods in a greehouse until they root then into solo cups with just promix and maybe a touch of EWC until my soil is ready i have 10 seeds 2 different strains thinking of trying a sea of green this time because 10 large plants are too much for my 4x8 area maybe in 3 gallon pots with a short veg has anyone tried any of these and do you think its an ok idea i have 2x 600 watt hps to cover my 4x8

  2. I always grow my autos in 15liter/3usg pots it makes it a lot easier to turn and deal with daily, years back whe SOG was hot I did many grows in 2 liter 1.5pints?, ..milk cartons, that works well but it does depend on strain a really reliable strain IMO

3usg makes a very tidy 3ft hi plant, every time best use for sequential gardens like me

    good luck

  3. usually i grow 2 or 3 in 10 gallons but thought of switching up plus the more plants the better the odds of success i probably wont bother with a net though i like being able to move them around as needed

  4. Sounds like you have it figured out . Yeah taller 3 gallon pots . All of the pots will be about touching each other. Film the plant once . Only a 7 inch veg max. Each plant can yield 3 ounces each just from that 7 inch veg .
So veg . Then 7 Inches tall plant. Film it the same day you flip to 12/12. I used to do this all the time with the larger plant number room. Very average is 2 to 3 ounces per plant . 30 ounces of smoke in a real hurry .
Yes i sold my business . im officially retired . I have never been so busy lol. I was at home more when i was running a business .

  6. when should they go into cups? should i wait til they all pop and root or put them in cups as soon as they surface?

  7. after pop. Then put them into cups or your final container all the same .
