Hello stoners It’s hard to find ballast as many of them have bad reviews. I’m thinking about getting a solis tek ballast although it is expensive. I’m just wondering if you have to use solis tek lamps with their ballast, as I heard some people say this? Also any thoughts on galaxy ballast?
I personally own 10 of there 600 models . They work well i bought them from ebay cheap . They have been on for about 6 years no issues . You can use them with or with out solis tek equipment . They work with any bulb . You can buy splitters 1000 watt into two 540 watts so use two 600 bulbs from a 1000 watt You can use a 1000 watt ballasts dim it to the 600 or 400 and put in that size bulb . So that 1000 dimed and using a 400 watt mh or hps . Very good equipment. May i ask you a question ? Unless your doing a large area or large grow why not do the switch to led ? What space are you flowering ? Ok so you know those old school 60 pound magnetic ballasts i also use they use the same power and work just as well as solis teck there are no grow differences .
