hey i was looking at 3 of the solarflare 200w but they run 110-120vac 50-60hz. where i am its 230-240vac 50hz. can i use a tranformer and the light will run ok?
That light is by California Lightworks. I have the Solarstorm. You might want to email the the maker...they return emails fast. Dunno about the Solarflare but the Solarstorm specifically says not to use it with a Transformer.
I would go with what he says. My light i frigging huge and most likely the power drivers are different. That light can fit into a back pack. Mine is 35 pounds and is huge so perhaps thats why. Believe what they say though since its warrantied and warranty work is the kiss of death for a company...costs them money and you pay nothing.
