  2. they say how it uses heat to move air but im pretty sure the purpose of making it so tall is to use bernoulli's principle from the high altitude winds and for all you non-physics professors out there bernoullis principle if the fact that as a gas increases velocity it becomes less dense its how airplane wings work and car spoilers. it uses heat but thats not all its using I think

  4. I doubt that. My best quess is that the taller it is, the bigger the temperature difference between the bottom and top, and therefor the air moves more rapidly to attempt to maintain equilibrium.
