Fixing to start my first indoor grow and I'm having trouble finding good quality soil. All Lowes and Home Depot in my area carry the shity stuff. Would i be better off to use Scotts, MG or use some composted cow shit that has worms in it mixed with perlite and peat moss? Thanks
Find the nearest big city to you ... Surely there has to be a hydroponics store around or a small chain gardening store that would have a good soil selection...
A 1/3 canadian peat or, coco coir mixed with 1/3 manure and 1/3 perlite is a good base soil. The main thing you don't want with ready to use potting soil is time release fertilizer. Of all the potting soils at HD I use the patio plus and amend for organic grows.
