  1. what are ways to raise and/or lower soil ph levels? i'm at about 6.8-6.9 and wanna get mine lower.

  2. They have chemicals at hydro shops you can buy called PH up or PH down.

  3. thats for Ph correcting water.

i know a few people that use dolomite lime to help with soil Ph problems.

  4. Oh shit man my bad your right. Forgaot it was soil not water. Dolomite lime is right, thats whats in VICS SUPER SOIL for PH leveling. My bad:smoke:

  5. To lower ph in soil: Phosphoric acid, vinegar, lemon juice, sawdust, composted leaves, wood chips, cottonseed meal, leaf mold, peat moss, or PH Down.

To raise pH in soil: potassium hydroxide, dolomite lime, hardwood ash, bone meal, crushed marble, crushed oyster shells, or PH Up.
