Hi GC, I plan to make a soil mix and cook it for 5 weeks or so, but i need to plant out now so I'm using a ready mix from the store. What I dont understand is what causes the heat when you make your own soil. Im assuming its the microherd growing? The reason I ask is I want to use ACT's on the pre made saoil mix, but if I do will it cause the soil to heat up and cause the plants issue? Cheers dave
