hey so I found this on my bin of soil thats cooking up today, its in a tote and i had the lid on.. should the lid be off ? Its pro mix HP/pro mix veg and herb/worm castings with added gaia green kelp meal/bloom/all purpose and rock dust.
What do i do with this? is it bad/how do i prevent? is the whole mix garbage? do i just scoop it out? Never done this before

Nope no picture but if its white and fuzzy what you probably have there is beneficials developing nicely. Just keep on turning that shit as needed.

  7. We call that Santa's Beard or old man's beard, its good fungus. That means your mix is cycling and happy, no need to worry. Don't be worried if the whole thing is covered.
