  1. some fox farm ocean soil it has been sitting in my closet for i say about 6months you guys think its still good to use?

ps: the soil is not open

  2. Yeah I would have to say so. might be dried out, but just wet it down good.

  3. As far as I know the organic material in it won't break down that fast, and even if it did that could just be substituted by using your liquid fertilizers anyway...

The main thing to worry about is if any pest has made that bag it's home. I had a gnat infestation last summer and while it did no harm to my plants (call me an exterminator) they did lay eggs in my opened bag of FFoF. I don't exactly know why since it was obviously never wet, and they supposedly prefer wet environments, but they didn't seem to mind. Crapper for me is it was pretty much a full bag as I probably only took about 1 gallon of dirt from it... Yay for 20-some dollars down the drain.

But as long as that isn't a problem... should be fine.

  4. thanks
yeah im pretty sure no bugs got in there my closet it pretty clean. might have alittle dust but thats all.
