I just gave my plant some water about 5 hours ago and I stick my finger 3" down and its dry as a bone wtf help!! im using miracle grow organic and there only 3 days old
take it as a sign of good drainage. aside from the task of having to water it frequently, it's a good thing because the dryer the soil, the more o2 the roots get which translates into faster growth. also, if the soil dries out fast the roots will spread out looking for water (which they do anyway) faster than normal, again resulting in faster growth. if it's a burden, look into a drip feed system.
sweet yeah dude it has pretty good drainage its in a plastic cup right now with 4 holes in the bottom should I go ahead and water agian?
Your water might just be running down the sides of your pot and not soaking the soil in the middle. Check to see if it's still dry an inch down right after you water. If so, then you need to change your watering method.
