I need soil that does not come from a garden store but can be found at the local wal mart. Which should I use? I've seen many, but can't find a 0-0-0 one so I come here for help.
I believe you can find Pro-mix soil at a walmart? Someone correct me if i am wrong. I don't know the NPK levels, but a lot of people use pro-mix/perlite mix for their germination/vegetation stages. You can find perlite at a home depot or lowes I believe.
you could get peat moss and perlite and worm castings there i bet...and some cheap shultz fertilizer. also probably have ph test kits for fish tanks....pretty much what you need.
Walmart doesnt have promix???? Where in the store would it be? because i never see any gardening soil or anything in there ever. just like empty pots and other things
Visited my local wal mart last night but didn't find pro mix or any soil at all. Going to lowes tomorrow.
I have found that stock is severely limited this time of year at Wal-mart, Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, etc. You will find better selection at such places as Spring approaches. In the meantime you could try a local nursery.
Yes that is correct. They aren't exactly keeping much on hand and what was there was frozen miracle gro. Decided to drive 45 minutes away to the closest garden store which told me over the phone they have Pro Mix. Yay.
